Well it's hunting season again and you found a new spot you would like to explore but your thinking....how can I get through that swamp to get to that great hunting spot. Well here's where a quad will shine at hunting season. It might not be a huge swamp, maybe just a nasty mudhole but a 4 wheeler will get you there. Flick the switch to 4WD and poof! Your got through it like nothing. That's just one benefit of having a quad for hunting season.
I personally owned a 2005 Arctic Cat 500 4WD and has made my game much more. It is not only good for pushing the snow in winter, but I bought it primarily for hunting. I bought 4 years ago and now I use it a lot during the hunting season. Are able to cover a lot of land in the shortest possible time, just another advantage of using a quad. I am where I want to find a good distance to park and walk to a good place for hunting in the morning or evening to drive. Do not get me wrong, I'm, like me, before I bought a quad, but now it saves time and distance, where I wanted to go. I also have a back seat in the back, which can store all my hunting gear that will stay dry and this is a bonus in cold weather or wet.
Now you sit for hours and there it is, the dollar of a lifetime. He slowly pulled the trigger and BANG, you see it and run back into the bush. Now you go to look for traces of blood and there he is, and leads right to HIM, 100 meters away from where he was shot. Now, your thinking, as I have to drag 2 miles to the truck, but wait ..... thats where it is in the 4wheeler. You go get the quad, drive up to the animal and now the load on the bike rack. Strap the dollar down and walk away, never so easily to the truck for loading HIM. Cutting a lot easier than dragging the big prize buck through the swamp and mud. It only makes the hunt of a life not awhole lot Thurs think cutting easier.
